Hearing the Other side of the Debate!

Recently I have been discussing Atheism, and a little bit on Richard Dawkins.  A lot of people know him for being a proponent of atheism, and is regarded as a phenomenal debater.  But I wonder how many have heard of John Lennox?  He is not as famous, in fact I hadn't even heard of him until I went to look up Richard Dawkins to listen to what he had to say because everyone kept referencing him.  Based on the impressions I got about Dawkins from other people's of him, I figured he must be stomping all his competition in his debates.  I was pleased to be wrong.

Intelligent Design!

In my last post we discussed a little bit on Atheism, the Multiverse and Evolution, and some of my questions regarding these so called, natural processes.  At this point you can probably guess, if you haven't already, that I don't believe in multiple universes or that evolution is a dumb, automatic process that guessed its way to success.  Mostly because when you actually look at the universe, and how fine tuned it is, then some intelligence guiding things is the simplest answer that accounts for the most.  You might recognize it as Occam's Razor.

Science vs. Spirituality

A war has waged for ages between spirituality and science, and which best accounts for the origins of the universe.  As time marches on, it seems the tables are beginning to tilt in a new direction, with atheism on the rise.  Science is becoming the new God of the world and people, and it sees fit to remove all old Gods from their thrones.  Although on the ropes, religion and spirituality is not out of the fight yet, as they may still have a few surprises of their own still waiting to be used... and discovered.

An Argument for God?!

Not to long ago I ran across a video that debates the existence of God.  I watched, expecting a bit to be underwhelmed, but to my surprise, the speaker brought some good points on the subject.  Although he is Muslim, I feel his argument stands for the existence of God without it being tied to a specific religion.
