Book Review: The Magus of Java

Put simply, this is probably my favorite book, ever!  Out of all the books I've read, this book has several things going for it that others that I've read, just doesn't have.  I'm not even sure where to begin.  It's the story of the author, Kosta Danaos, and his journey and apprenticeship under an experienced master, John Chang, in the art of Nei Kung, or internal martial arts.  His journey leads past conventional understanding of the world, and well into ancient wisdom, once thought long forgotten, and into potential, that most don't even believe they have!

Book Reviews

I read a lot of books on the subject of spirituality, meditation, chi and paranormal abilities, etc.  Much of the information I present on my blog here comes from these books, and my own experiences.  I have a little Amazon widget with several of the books I've read here on this blog, but I figured that doesn't do much to convey if any of the books on it are worth reading.  So I decided it would probably be useful if I actually reviewed some of these books, so you know a little bit more about them, and if they might interest you at all.

Change Yourself from Within!

The mind can be a wondrous thing.  Capable of dreaming up your greatest fantasies, or summoning your darkest nightmares.  Worst, or best yet is, it's also responsible for making them real within you.  Both on a psychological level, as well as a more physical one.  Held deep within the mind lies the keys to your eternal freedom, or endless imprisonment, and everything in-between.  So how might one go about changing one, into the other?
